CCC_Cathedral_LogoCrescent City Cyclists is the longest continuously running bicycle touring club in the greater New Orleans area. We host leader-led rides nearly every weekend, on both the north and south shores of Lake Pontchartrain. City rides are at a more causal pace and shorter distance than the country rides, which appeal to the “roadies” among us. Here are a few important points about our club:

  • Membership is open to anyone who is interested in cycling as a recreation/hobby.
  • Guests are welcomed to come on any one club ride. After that, we’ll ask you to join.
  • Safety is of vital importance. Helmets are required on all club rides.
  • You should have a road-worthy bike and know how to change a flat or perform minor repairs which may occur on the road. You should also carry adequate water and snacks for the length of the ride.

See the News page for the latest updates on cycling events and activities both inside and outside of CCC.

Check the Activities Calendar for upcoming weekend rides, meetings, special events, etc..
Our Chain Links page provides a list of local, regional and national cycling related web resources.
